Course Books

We use the course books “Marugoto: Japanese Language and Culture, Katsudoo (Course book for communicative language activities).” You will have completed one course book in one module. The aim of this intensive course is to develop practical communicative ability as fast as possible through listening to a variety of Japanese and a lot of speaking activities. Since we focus on developing practical communicative ability, we do not practice reading Kanji (Chinese characters) during the lessons very much. You can learn meanings and readings of Kanji using Apps related to these course books by self-study if you like. You can also see the tables of contents and sample pages of the course books below by clicking on the links to the official website of the Japan Foundation.
